Cooperation before competition -
many founders with many skills
A team of seven founders with very different expertise in art, business and IT. We are united by the desire to make the art world fairer and, above all, smarter in the long term in order to give art the importance it deserves in society. Seven people - that may sound like a lot at first, but it's part of ato's DNA and perhaps the recipe for success. Our extended team of founders and employees also focuses on people from different disciplines working and cooperating together.

Our definition of
transdisciplinary work
The fusion and exchange of science, business, technology and art offers great added value for the daily tasks and challenges that ato faces as a young company. Our broad-based expertise enables us to meet these challenges with confidence. However, it also means that we have to be aware of the differences and value them as an important part of our corporate DNA.
For us, encounters between different disciplines at eye level are an elementary component of working together - with each other and also in cooperation with companies, universities and organizations from the arts and culture sector. For us, real innovation and change occur when artists and creative professionals are recognized and taken seriously for their professionalization and the disciplines (science, art, business) work on problems together. To this end, we work together with the Innovation Hub of the KIT (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology), the Berlin State Monument Office, the Federal Ministry of Housing, Urban Development and Building and many other partners.
Mutual appreciation of specialist expertise is very important to us and enables us to successfully carry out projects across disciplines.
